Ive got 3 Imperials , a 57 , a 59 and this 1956 Chrysler Imperial. Origional 354 Hemi. But I don't do shiny so this one has to go a beautiful rust free 2 door hardtop at the right price.
Car was stripped in the late ‘90’s ( no rust whatsoever ) and painted, interior re-trimmed in leather (£5k) bumpers rechromed etc, and was never put back together.
It was bought last year as an unfinished project, and put back together by a Mopar expert in Halifax.
I was told the engine had been apart for inspection etc, although I have no proof of this, but it certainly runs sweetly.
Push button auto box (rebuilt ), electric windows ( the Imperial was Chrysler’s top of the line car )
The paint has got some minor chips and scratches after being stored for 20 years, and it has a couple of small bits of side trim missing that we are finding . All steering , suspension etc. tight brakes fine and runs on excellent radials
It only has about 50 test miles on it since it was finished but ran and drove well.
So, a rock solid 2 door hardtop Hemi car, that can be used now
Viewing essential to appreciate it.
