I am sad to say I have to sell my lovely little 1927 Chummy.
It took me a long time to find one like this, with good honest usable paint, some patina, scratches and scuffs.
It’s got a lot of original bits and some non-original bits too but all make it a perfect and usable car, would be suited to trialling or taking your friends out for joyrides.
It has original Mag engine, a later 4 speed box, magneto is newly rebuilt and remagnetised, punches a good whack now, brand new longstone tyres all round. Lights work correctly, the charge system comes and goes as it feels. The hood is not original and could do with attention but I have just retrimmed it in heavyweight canvas, side screens are present but pretty rough. Seats are great, dash has been changed for a later one with pockets at some point.
Original registration should be kept with the car, and I have the buff logbook to go with it also.
There’s no rust to speak of underneath, it’s all solid. There's obviously been welding but it's all nice and solid. Brakes work great!
I love this car and spent a lot getting it drivable thinking I would keep it forever, alas times change so sadly it has to go. The stripes are vinyl and will be removed before sale. Car is located near Bicester, Oxfordshire.
A very pretty 7, in nicely restored condition.

A go anywhere little vintage Austin.
