Description
The Elgin Car Company of Illinois made approx 17, 000 cars between their commencement in 1916 and demise in 1925.
This car was rebuilt in the UK by a VSCC club member about 15 years ago with a one-off body and road registration as an historic vehicle. It has a 3 litre OHV six cylinder Falls engine, 3 speed gearbox, electric start, generator, lights and 2 wheel brakes. Recent detail improvements including engine rebuild. Some period literature and spares including block and crank (both used). Potential Edwardian racer or just a lot of fun. Seen at Saltburn hill climb in 2019.
