Due to an unexpected change in circumstances I am selling my recently restored and improved 1970 Mk2 GT6. It has been the subject of an extensive and costly renovation without losing the charm and patina of a genuine sixties sports car. Where possible, original components have been reused and it has received some very nice period style upgrades including new Minilite style alloy wheels and new tyres, a superb, performance alloy radiator, a stainless steel exhaust system and a major re-trim. The car is rust free and every component has been replaced or refurbished to high standard; the car is a great usable classic and is ready to take to the roads in style. MOT and road tax exempt.
The complete nut and bolt rebuild includes:
Chassis completely rebuilt with all new bushes, shock absorbers, front springs, bearings etc,
Rebuilt engine, carbs, overdrive gearbox, final drive (diff) and Rotoflex drive shafts
Stainless steel 6 branch exhaust manifold and full performance system (it sounds lovely)
Brand new JBW minilite wheels and Toyo tyres
New, top quality carpets, head lining, sun visors and interior trim
New front windscreen and heated rear windscreen
New fuel tank and fuel lines
Completely new brake system with new cylinders, calipers, discs and pipes etc.
Complete bare metal repaint in Signal Red 2 pack paint
Mileage shown on speedo is meaningless because the car has been completely refurbished. Massive folder of receipts available.
