Taylors Garage are proud to offer for sale this 1961 Morris Minor 1000 Saloon 2dr
The little Minor came to us and being enthusiastic classic car people we just had to see this Minor back in the hands of another supportive owner.
Taking the Minor to heart into the workshops it went, we carefully examined the underneath found a couple of suspect rusted areas. No shortcuts! removed the rusted area and replaced with new. Next the engine, out it came a thorough mechanical inspection and back in it went with a new clutch, even the gearbox had to be examined and a synchro replaced. Once the mechanics had been sorted, decided the little Yukon Grey car should have its in period Maroon leathercloth interior replaced; spending way over what we should, replaced carpets, seat covers and door panels.
The paintwork is pretty much as it should be with the original Yukon Grey patina.
At Taylors Garage we have taken many more hours and spent much more than we will ever receive in return when we sell, but fortunately as enthusiasts only have to justify the expense to ourselves.
If you are looking for a classic Morris 1000 that is exempt from MOT, Road fund licence exempt
