Ford Crown Victoria 2007 New York Cab
In fact a p71 police car- most of the New York cabs were retired police cars after 100k of service...and they had about 300k left in them so this is an accepted transition
Drives superbly, just did a film job yesterday in it. Transmission and torque converter flushed through with correct Ford Mercon V recently. Engine is superb, does not use oil or water and transmission changes gears very nicely
Decals throughout 100% accurate even down to interior glass stickers and hood decal. It's indistinguisable from a proper cab, except far less mileage and a more robust police suspension and prop shaft specification!
Comes with private NY56CAB plate and both taxi toppers- a large light up 'toblerome' which can be customised and also a genuine New York light up roof box which has a 4 hour rechargeable battery inside and can be magnetically attached to the roof with ultra strong neodynium magnets
The mileage is 130k- the odometer display failed so the previous owner put in a different speedo showing 106k hence the MOT mileage discrepancies
Just fitted AC Delco camber adjustment kit so the wheel alignment is pin straight.
Air conditioning ice cold, it has cruise control, parking sensors and heating is fine. Recently undersealed. No rust on it. With decent Sony Bluetooth stereo, Focal upgrade speakers, sound deadened and subwoofer in the trunk.
Genuine P7B CVPI from Chicago, Illinois originally. Runs and drives perfectly, in very good condition overall for an ex service vehicle. Been a pleasure to own but unfortunately I cannot afford to.....
Be different! we have a choice of two New York Taxi's. These roamed the streets of Brooklyn and more recently were used in movies. NY11 CAB arrived in the UK via Germany in August 2016. Its history.....
