1972 tax exempt T2 with original factory Dormobile conversion.
MOT March 2021. Even though these are MOT exempt i would rather MOT it every year for peace of mind.
owned for 9 years so loads of stories to tell.
When i brought this it had a recon engine which lasted until 2019 when this died. It was replaced with a reconditioned engine in March 2019 which has had limited use since. Mechanically all is good although slow.
Body wise i had the bottom 12 inches of the inner and outer panels cut out and replaced. This involved a month in the garage and also required a bottom half respray. This was in 2017.
Interior is the original Dormobile interior, with 2 buddy seats, original seat fabric, fold out table and bed. The seat foam has been renewed.
Fridge is gas.
Sink and water pump.
2 hammock beds in the roof. These are just about big enough for my 12 year old. These were replaced in 2016.
Pop up roof all works. Fabric was replaced in 2016.
I have had this van for 9 years and have bills for £12k spent in my ownership, so £1300 per year running cost (including new engine and respray) is actually not expensive motoring.
i have hundreds of photos so just ask. We go camping 5 times a year in this so know all its faults.
Please ask questions and come and view before making the usual silly offers. Most dealers want £20k+ for these now.
When comparing to others please remember tax free (saved £1800 over 9 years), new respray and engine.
