Selling my Ducati 888 as I find it too uncomfortable and it doesn't suit the kind of riding I do these days (mostly ride an FJR1300)
She is not a show pony: has been enjoyed and comes with an appropriate level of patina - namely some road rash behind the front wheel and some stone chips. (Reflected in the price)
- 5 previous owners.
- 25000 miles (less than 1000 per year)
- MOT expires 26.8.2021 (have all previous)
- Some service history but mostly retained by the dealer that sold it to me as previous keeper was James May (ex Top Gear / Grand Tour)
- Has just had a full belts and fluids service for buyer peace of mind. New battery fitted too.
Tyres are getting low but still legal. Haven't replaced them as tyre choice is often a personal thing. Again, reflected in the price.
Could be easily brought back to immaculate over the winter or used and enjoyed as is.
The 888 is basically an evolution of the 851, of which it retains the frame and a large part of the components . Even the engine was not new, as it had already in fact equipped the most powerful.....
