Well what can I say?! Is there any point in writing a description?! This beautiful RGS left Small Heath in March 1963 bound for BSA New Jersey, USA. It then went to its new owner in Nebraska USA. It was purchased 22 years ago by a wealthy Danish American and had a no expense restoration carried out including a total engine rebuild with all the normal pistons, crank regrind and new bearings etc etc, when t was finished he shipped it to his home in Denmark to join the rest of his collection but later decided to sell it .I purchased it in October 2010 and has been stored with my collection since.
This is a GENUINE RGS, the engine and frame have always been together from day one. The frame No. is GA10 1237, engine NO. DA10 9399 and it has an A RR T gearbox. It runs beautifully and sounds like it should-GORGEOUS!!!
As a member of the Gold Star owners club I have had this verified by the Machine Registrar.
I am selling this bike and others with reluctance due to my rapidly advancing years and I am offering it at a very reasonable price, so no tire kickers or time wasters please. It will be first come first served.
My personal machine, owned by me since 1968, has just been fully restored by us. As you can see, we have expertise in machines other than BMW, but have been brought up on British bikes, now classics......
