2000 Audi A4 1.8 SE, 4 speed Auto For Sale
**DEPOSIT TAKEN** I have for sale my 2000 Audi A4 1.8 SE Automatic saloon in Jasper Green. It is MOT’d to 24th August 2021 and has just under 160k miles on the clock in great original condition. The car has only one previous owner to me who covered 155k miles from its registration in September ’00 until I acquired it at the end of December ’17. In his ownership it was only serviced at Audi dealers with a stamped up service book to prove this. I work at a main dealer and have had them do any required work or have done it myself. The specification of the car is as follows: A4 saloon, SE spec, 1.8 litre 20valve (ARG code 125hp engine), 4 speed automatic, original alloy wheels with good tyres, power steering, ABS, original Audi Concert radio/ cassette, air conditioning, central locking, 4x electric windows (all working fine), electric mirrors, front air bags, rear parking sensors, full sized spare wheel and tool kit with jack and wheel brace. It has a good set of fitted floor mats. There are three keys for the car and there’s a folder with owner’s manual, service book and other operating instruction books. In my ownership I’ve had the following work done: New thermostat, temperature sensor and coolant. Jan. ‘18 Oil, oil filter and pollen filter. Feb. ‘18 New Lambda sensor. April ‘18 Air conditioning re-gas. May ‘18 Gearbox oil and filter change. June ‘18 New Mass Air Flow Sensor. Jan. ‘20 Oil and filter change with inspection service. March ’20 (159124m) Replace catalytic convertor (for MOT) Aug. ‘20 The all important cambelt and auxiliary belt were replaced by Audi in August ’17 at 154470 miles. The car drives well with no odd noises from anything mechanical. Despite the mileage, it doesn’t burn any oil or use any coolant. In common with most Audi’s of this era, the pixels in the information panel on the dashboard have broken up and can disappear altogether in hot weather. It does have odd marks on the bodywork conducive with age and mileage with the only sign of rust being on the lower edge of the driver’s side front wing. Even this isn’t really noticeable as it hasn’t gone through and I’ve treated it from the back to try and stop it getting any worse. The interior is in very good order with no damage to the seat material, carpets or other trim. The front ashtray insert is missing and the rear ashtray lid has a locator pin broken. Please contact me for further information. Open to sensible and reasonable offers once you have seen the car, not before please.
