This tidy, useable Comet, having had little use in recent years is crying out for someone to ride and enjoy.
Currently owned by the President of the Vincent HRD Owners Club, Bryan Phillips, for the last 23 years.
Whilst the engine and frame are not matching, both were dispatched to Millar’s of Mitcham in 1950, who know the story of how they came together.
Documents with the bike show parts used and work done since the 1980’s. During Bryan’s ownership the Comet was extensively overhauled, several pages detailing work done.
Probably less than 1000 miles done since the work was completed, old MOT’s and tax discs for 1980’s to 2008.
Fitted with a tread down stand and a convenient rack.
We have just had the Comet re-commissioned and serviced by Ben Kingham of BKS Speedworks, it starts, runs and rides very nicely, it just needs a new owner to get out and ride it.
Comes with some tools and a quantity of small spares, gaskets etc.
