1973 Rapport Forte Convertible For Sale

Never been publicly offered for sale before. Took almost 40 years to find, so am more than gutted that am having to sell due to family sickness. Car is literally a one-off.See Created by Rapport and featured in many books and magazines. Exhibited at the British Grand Prix in 1980 and driven in a parade lap by Mark Thatcher. I will get the gag out of the way right now READ ON.. he did manage to find his way back to the pits! Car will require a Jaguar XJ12 carburettor donor and putting through IVA (in the UK) or whatever licensing authority in your country requires. In addition to the car, you get its own website, extensive research material and framed brochure poster. This barn find (or more accurately, 'driveway find') must represent one of the last Jaguar-based coachbuilt vehicles. I hate talking about money, but when finished, representing something truly unique, its value should be considerable. Considerable time and expense has already been invested in stripping the car down and placing it on a wheeled frame. An incredible amount of pictures have been taken during this process. DVLA has confirmed in a telephone call that once complete and test passed, the car can be registered as a Rapport Forte. To summarise, what is being sold is a Rapport converted bodyshell, frame it is now sitting on, body panels, molds for front wings, many pieces to complete, samples of both original dash material and leather interior, 3D scan of the estate car to assist in making parts that will be required and extensive research material. Please see pictures of car as it is now and as it was and message for more info/any questions. The story behind Rapport and this vehicle is truly amazing and mostly untold. Price is best offer between £7500 and £20000 by 31st October 2020 secures.
