Without doubt one of the very best MGAs we have had the pleasure of offering, this Orient Red example is a 1956 model which was imported from California in 1988.
Shortly after arrival in the UK she was to undergo a total restoration by a leading specialist to the highest possible standard. There is an album of photographs showing the rebuild in progress, from the acquisition of the car when it was first imported, through to completion. This car was restored for their own private collection and was exhibited at various classic car shows and used on several runs and tours.
Although some thirty years have passed since the restoration was completed, the MG has been cherished and carefully maintained, with only occasional dry weather use and it remains in showroom condition and to correct original specification throughout.
If you are seeking a really exceptional MGA, suitable for concours events, or just want the best you can find to simply enjoy, this car is sure to tick all the boxes.
Fitted with wire wheels as originally supplied, the car comes with a copy of the Heritage Sheet showing the date of build as 27-29th November 1956, plus many bills and previous MOT certificates, showing that just over 3,200 miles have been covered since the car was completed.
Almost certainly the best MGA available.
