I got this lovely Velocette LE (Little Engine) from the son of the original owner following his Dad passing away.
I didn't take a lot to get it running as the old man had 14 of them and had stored it with coolant drained out, on wooden floor under a blanket.
It starts 2nd kick and is really nice to ride.
You wont win any races but its great fun to nip to the shops with and the panniers hold a bit of shopping.
These bikes were really advanced for their day.
Water cooled, horizontally opposed 4 stroke with needle roller bearings and its really quite.
They were made in Birmingham and its got "Made in Birmingham" in several places.
I've and 80 year old uncle who remembers the police having them when he was a teenager. He says his mates used to hate them because they were so quiet, they never knew the police had arrived.
Its got 25K on the clock and "no of former keepers" as 1 on the V5C. Reg in not transferable, presumably because he neglected to update to V5C in time.
That's all I can tell you, its a great thing and can only go up in value as £1395 sounds very cheap to me and it's priced to sell.
