This car was originally bought as a spare for my other 1963 TR3B, which I purchased new, still own. The original car won the VTR Nationals Ken Richardson Challenge Trophy (Duran Trophy) in 1989, 1991, and 2017. To ensure that the restoration was done to the same condition and level of detail as when it rolled off the assembly line, the original car was used as the blueprint to build the car that is for sale. I do not look forward to competing against this car at future VTR Nationals. We also have a restored factory steel black hardtop for this car. It not only looks like a new car but it also runs like a new car. If anyone out there has seen my original car at VTR Nationals, then you know the level of detail and effort that goes into maintaining the car. The same level of effort and detail went into the restoration of this one as well. If anyone is looking for a “new” TR3B, the only request that I make is, please make sure that you will give this car the kind of home it deserves. I will answer any and all questions.
