Wolseley 6/110 mk1 registered 10th february 1963
i purchased this wolseley 6/110 in october 2017, an import from south africa.
i wanted to make her into a superb example so she had a bare metal respray and painted in the colour you can see in the pictures.
brightwork was rechromed, boot was completely lined out by a trimmer i regularly use for my other cars, furflex around the doors was replaced, the electrical system was revamped back to dynamo to keep original as in south africa it had an alternator conversion.
the seats were already in loveley condition so nothing had to be done to them.
mechanically she runs well and chnages gear as she should.
british motor heritage certificate comes with the car.
the work undertaken and the purchase of the car ran into excess of £17k.
then i bought another well known 6/110 so she has hardly ever been on the road but sat in the garage.
today i decided to fire her up, started first time even though she has sat for months.
it is time to move her on as not getting used due to my other 6/110 purchase.
the current mot has run out but if the new owner requires one thats no problem. Since the restoration she has gone through twice without any advisories.
i realise she wont command the money spent on her but not getting used and enjoyed is not good either so here she is up for sale.
