Triumph Dolomite 1500HL 1979
For sale is my much loved Triumph Dolomite 1500HL. I have owned this fantastic car for several years and during this time I have restored it from a non-roadworthy state to the glorious condition you see in the pictures.
With the work that has been carried out on the car it drives fantastically and does not require any work to be carried out. It starts perfectly, runs & drives fantastically and always gets plenty of attention wherever it goes.
The mileage on the car is currently 86,300 miles and I cannot see this rising by much. I have 40 years’ worth of documented history and photo’s & even the original service books, Handbooks & a log of everything that has ever been done to the car.
I have always serviced (Including gearbox & Diff oils) the car every 12 months at the start of the year and I have all the documentation to back this up. The car is now Tax & MOT exempt, However I have still chosen to have the MOT’s carried out to keep the history file going. MOT passed in May with no advisories.
Below is a brief overview of the work that has been carried out in the last year:
The interior of the car is all completely original and in fantastic condition. I have always used rubber floor mats in the car to preserve the condition of the carpets underneath. The only change inside is the gearknob has been replaced for a black leather version & I have fitted an oil pressure gauge to the dashboard in place of the voltmeter.
The exterior and bodywork is also in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. Both of the rear back doors do have minor paint bubbling on the lower half but has never got any worse since I have owned the car. There is some other marks & blemished as can be expected from a 40 year old car. However, considering it was restored around 25 years ago it still looks absolutely fantastic.
I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and working on this Dolomite and it really is a joy to drive. I have mainly used the car for classic car run events and it is usually the only Dolomite there so gets plenty of attention. The car has always been garaged & fitted with a cover during my ownership.
Any questions please ask. * No test drives unless the full asking price in my hand first. However I will happily take anyone out for a passenger ride if they are a serious buyer. CASH OR BANK TRANSFER ONLY (Funds must have cleared before I hand the keys over!).

This Triumph Dolomite Sprint is from 1975 and has 35,000 kilometers, it is a unique opportunity. It is all mechanically reviewed (with invoices to be proven) and well preserved in terms of exterior.....
