1991 Ducati 750SS - Timewarp bike, collectors item For Sale

1991 Ducati 750 Supersport, probably the lowest mileage white frame 750 for sale anywhere, unless you know different.
With just over 8000 miles from new, this is an unmolested all-standard bike that I have owned for over four years now. Bought by a friend from a previous owners widow with 7000 miles on the clock, I took possession and have changed the belts (twice, second time last winter), replaced the battery, both tyres, and had a full professional respray to remove the marks brought about by years of garage storage. Original from front to back, right down to the original fasteners, with no corrosion and no aftermarket alterations, it can be considered a time warp bike. I have been toying with the idea of having the wheels powdercoated again as the front has blemishes in the original finish that in my mind detracts from the rest of the bike. The front forks have been rebuilt by RSS Ltd for new seals as there was a light trace of oil on one leg. All the components in the forks were checked for tolerance while they were apart. In the time I have owned it, I have seen no other white frame, half-faired Ducatis on the road or at shows, and it is a talking point whenever I ride it. It rides as you would expect, and will not disappoint. Further images are available upon request.

The bike is for sale at what I believe in the current market to be a very fair price, I want to sell it, not retire on the proceeds. It needs to make way for a Guzzi that has been offered, that I cannot resist.
Available to view near Chorley, Lancashire, by prior arrangement, contact me through the usual channels. Cash on collection only, no Paypal due to excessive fees. No test rides without cash in hand for obvious reasons, you drop it, you bought it.

What is this bike? First, we have to deal with the numbers. Ducati built 401 Super Sport 750s in 1974 in their Borgo Panigale factory – those being the now familiar so-called round-case, green frame edition – with the series frame numbers starting at DM 750 SS 075001. The frame number was stamped on the left side between ...
