2005 BMW 750i Sport - great condition *NOW SOLD* For Sale
After 4 years of fault free ownership it’s time to sell my BMW E65. Only reason is that I’ve bought a Lexus LS400 and can’t justify having two cars of this size...
Dark blue metallic with beige leather interior and fully loaded with options, including 20" alloy wheels. Currently showing 161,000 miles.
During my ownership the car has been looked after by SC Motorworks, an independent BMW specialist based just outside of Newcastle.
Full service history – 8 stamps.
Fully optioned example – including air conditioning, heated, cooled, massage seats, CD changer, rear DVD player, Nappa leather trim, alcantara headlining, sunroof, privacy blinds in the rear, etc.
No rust anywhere on the car.
Wheels refurbished (not a mark on them).
Major service at 148,000 miles which also included a new coolant pump, rear brake lines and a replacement ABS (DSC) pump.
4 good tyres all round (12,000 miles on them with plenty of tread still remaining).
12 months MOT.
The Sat Nav CD is so out of date I’ve just removed it.
Indicators are silent. SC Motorworks told me a relay had likely failed but it’s a dashboard out job so I declined their offer to fix it...
Front cigar lighter doesn’t work (the two rear ones do however so you can still charge your phone/s).
Front headlight plastics a bit cloudy but will clean up if machine polished (I just haven’t had the time).
I have two keys for the car, one of which is a year old. Second key needs a new battery or ideally replaced (£162 from a main BMW dealer).
As mentioned, the car has been looked after by SC Motorworks based in Shiremoor, Tyne & Wear. This independent BMW specialist is run by Steve and Chris who are both ex-BMW main dealer mechanics. Steve knows the car well and, after speaking to him, is happy to take a call and verify just how solid this car is.
