First a brief history.

We personally imported this corvette and sold it 27 years ago , and it has been in the same ownership since for 27 years in which time it has only covered a mere 6, 000 miles. I believe it has been garage kept all its UK life, during which it has had a full chassis restoration.

We bought it back and have done updates on things we thought it needed.

BodyWork

It now Has a superb unmarked Finish. we have fitted a brand new Set of tail lights, a brand New Rear "Corvette " emblem and are about to fit 4 brand new Tyres. The alloys are higly polished , 78 corvettes did not come with polished alloys.

The Mechanics

We have fitted a brand new Master cylinder and fully rebuilt all 4 brake calipers with the best you can get O ring Conversion Kits and changed the brake fluid

We have changed power steering parts as a mater of course . There is no rust or rot on the chassis or birdcage . Wè have installed a fully professional Numbers correct Rochester quadrajet . The car runs and drives and stops fantastic .

The interior .

The seats had already been recovered to a very high standard, therefore we decided to replace the whole carpet set with , again factory correct , we have also replaced both door panels with brand new along with the parking brake Cover . The dash has no cracks and is perfect as are the rear compartment doors and main frame. We have fitted brand new T top, door Main and rear glass Weather strip .

The gauges all work as do the power Windows , Door locks, headlights Raise nicely , Heaters work, power antenna works but the radio canbee temperamental . The car no longer requires road tax or MOT but we will put a full MOT on it for the new owner .
