I am storing and selling this car on behalf of a family friend of mine. If you are interested and want to view the car, please do get in touch and if anyone has any questions, I will do my best to assist!

According to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this lovely LHD Porsche 911T 2.2 Coupe by Karmann - VIN No: the details below and Engine No: 6106445 is a 'Matching Numbers' car and it is still finished in its original colour scheme of Bahia Red with a Black Leatherette interior and was built in the Karmann factory in Germany and delivered to Porsche in Worthington, Ohio, USA and first registered in Columbus, Ohio, on 24th March 1970.

As a bit of background history, the car remained with the first owner in Ohio until he sold it in 2011, when the car went to Los Angeles, California. We believe it had 3 further owners in California until it was sold in November 2016 and exported to New Zealand by its English owner who has just shipped it to the UK for us to register and sell for him here.

It has received a fairly extensive body restoration in New Zealand with lots of new parts and invoices for over £9,000. it is in lovely rust-free condition throughout and drives exceptionally well.

The car retains its original 2195cc S6 Engine and 5-Speed Manual Gearbox. Moreover, the interior is also in its original specification of Black Leatherette Seats with Black/Grey carpets, 911S Instruments and Oil Tank. It did have Chrome Disc Wheels when new, but now has a set of Fuch's Alloys with relatively new Firestone Tyres. The mileage indicated on the Speedometer is 45,398 miles, but we are unable to confirm if this is its original mileage from new. It does come with its original Owners Manual and Maintenance Record and some invoices + the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming its original build details.

The car is in beautiful condition with only the odd stone chip on the bonnet and it does drive exceptionally well.
The car is now UK registered with the age-related numberplate BHY 463H from 1970.

I am more than happy to provide 12 months MOT for the new owner; I have no doubt it'll pass with flying colours, its just my family friend never felt it necessary to MOT it when he brought the car back from New Zealand.

Many thanks
