Superb project Mini Marcos
I bought this a few years ago now to restore but I have collected far too many great retirement projects but sadly I’ll have to sell this and most of the others, which is such a shame. And a 26R is taking a lot of my spare time - unlike Minis, 26R’s are expensive to restore ! My main business is very busy and I need additional space too.
Obviously this car needs some restoration, but it’s not a basket case by any means. In fact it has a nice 1275 engine which I was assured was an excellent unit and the subframes etc are surprisingly good and will clean up well. It had a chassis plate and number plates from a its mini donor Mini which possibly must have been from the same source as the engine/running gear. 1983.

The shell alone is worth £3500 so with both fitted out subframes and running gear and 1275 engine i am looking for £4500. Or VNO. I’m willing to remove the engine and sell as a rolling chassis/shell for £3995.
With a little time and patience it will make a fabulously fast and great looking car. More phots on request.
Any inspection welcome. Transport can be arranged in the U.K. via a local transport gentleman who delivers new cars country wide. Please ask for a quote.
If bought I am willing to store for a month or so, because of the current difficult climate.
Will also assist with sending further afield.
Please phone for any further information. the details below
