1963 Norton 650SS, matching numbers. Easy starter, well sorted, runs and rides great. Original Buff log book from 1963, loads of history.
Just completed complete top and bottom end engine re-build including-
• Head overhaul- new
o tappet adjusters
o push rods
o Cylinder head oil pipe assembly
• Barrels re-sleeved back to standard
• NOS BHB standard pistons
• New Conrods
• Crank dynamically balanced
• Big end shells
• Crank main bearings
• New cam chain and tensioner
• New timing chain
o Kick start shaft, pawl and 1st gear.
o Kick starter
o Inner cover bearing replaced
o All seals replaced
o New pair Monobloc carbs and manifolds
o Electronic Ignition fitted (Wassel, best IMO for Norton due to short curve)
o Complete overhaul of front forks, new head bearings and new near side fork slider
o New rear chain
o Anti- wet sump valve fitted (electric kill switch)
o Speedo Serviced
o Vincent flat bars with risers fitted for extra comfort
o 3/8th clutch lever for lighter clutch action (what a difference!)
Also many receipts covering work performed by previous owners new clutch,stainless steel spokes and new wheel rims etc. etc.
