1969 Triumph Herald 13/60 Convertible For Sale

Just in ......... HCC bring you another lovely classic Triumph , this one is a 1969 Herald finished in correct code Damson with correct code black interior . Its was fully restored some years ago and still holds very well with some marks and imperfections from use and enjoyment . It is a super sound example that could be used and enjoyed and taken to a top level if desired with little effort . If you've been looking for a near rust free Herald Convertible its a must see . As with most of our cars we are offering it as is for a limited time after which we will pull the car from the market raise it to a high level of finish and market accordingly . Call us to find out more or to arrange to view . Great colour combination that matches the chassis plate . Lots of history / old bills and mots in the file and it had £1400 + spent on various bits and pieces brakes / lines / pipes suspension items etc only last year at a classic specialist . We will add better pics as the weather allows it only came in yesterday and midway between prepping the rain stopped so we got it out quickly and took these but the some bits and the interior hadnt been cleaned .

Bodywork :: Its in great shape , paint has a lovely deep shine and shows some superficial scratches / dents / marks noticed upon closer inspection that have been accrued over the driving and enjoyment of the car but its a really honest example hiding nothing , bottoms of the doors are great , floors are perfect as is the boot floors all done on the restoration and was done to a great standard . Doors line in to the rear quarters perfectly and open and shut with ease . Front valance is steel and in great shape > The white bumper rubber strips are all lovely and certainly not very old ,

Interior :: Beautiful interior thats been refurbished in the restoration and still looking great , seats are firm and supportive with great covers , the inners have certainly re foamed and new diaphragms fitted . Carpets are excellent and great quality , Dashboard fascia is lovely with excellent lacquer , still has its correct black dashboard under cover fitted over the ancillaries below , Has a 12v power point for the sat nav , plus a switch for the electric washers , Car has rear lap belts fitted , rear view mirror / sunvisors are in great shape .

Engine Bay :: Engine has been changed for a replacement identical unit with a DL prefix so the car isnt a matching numbers item but it starts , runs and does what it should and is a nice quiet unit , Extras fitted here are Alloy Rocker cover , electronic Ignition , electric fan , Delphi brake servo , K and N reusable air filter , Good tidy overall bay . 

Underside ::Looks lovely , chassis is very clean and floors as described earlier are great , chassis components are all clean and its clearly evident works / replacements to them have been done .

Boot Area :: Tidy in the boot , Fuel tank is in great shape , floor mat fitted , the boot floor is lovely as is the spare wheel well .

Wheels / Tyres :: Minilite replica wheels all in great shape with vgc Tyres all round .

Summary :: This a car that was comprehensively restored some years and apart from the blemishes and imperfections still remains in great shape and is super solid . whilst not perfect it remains one one of the better examples out there and will be a great car to use , enjoy and raise to a higher level if you so desire .
