1977 Lotus Esprit S1 chassis number 0291G which was 178th out of 268 cars
This Esprit is finished in Monaco which was its original body colour when it left the factory in October 1977.
Over the past five years the car has undergone extensive restoration work which included a full engine rebuild by PNM Engineering .
The car has been with SJ Sports Cars for the last two years having Lots of other work done with invoices from them alone amounting to just under £20,000
This included a full body strip down and complete repaint and also included a full re-trim with other mechanical work as well .
A few years ago I managed to get an original roll of Lotus Tartan material still with the Lotus part number on it so this was used for the Tartan and green re-trim with the orange carpets
The car has only had three former keepers and has covered a mere 69000 miles it also comes with a large history file with an original Esprit S1 owners handbook . I also have a certificate of provenance provided by Lotus Cars .
