| | | For sale is my 2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 litre V8 petrol.
Over all the car is in great condition for its age, with pretty much no bodywork marks or interior wear. Lovely colour combination, presented in a metallic light green with the optional green leather and contrasting piping interior. New this was over £50,000.
It has been well looked after prior to me purchasing the car, and while in my ownership.
I have owned the car for around a year now, but due to changed circumstances, I no longer have the need for such a big car.
During my ownership I have had the following work done:
New front disks
New front pads
New rear disks
New rear pads
New brake fluid
New brake pipes where needed
Front wheel bearing
New battery
Oil and oil filter change
New thermostat
Coolant system flush
Radio and instrument cluster screens overhauled
Cam cover gaskets
MOT until July 2021
The car drives brilliantly with no noises or clonks and has never let me down.
Gear box is nice and smooth, changes down quickly.
Engine pulls really well and is such a lovely and comfortable place to sit.
9 previous owners from new, and only 92,700 miles from new.
The only thing I can see not working is the outside temperature sensor is not reading correctly, as it just reads -40 constantly. Apart from this everything else seems to work fine.
Air suspension functions as it should.
Unfortunately, when I bought the car it came with lots of service history, and receipts showing lots of work before me purchasing it. This was posted to me and lost in transit. So the only paperwork I have is the work I have had carried out to the car and the leather wallet and user manuals.
Over the last five years the car has barely been used, and this is probably why the mileage is so low.
But for a car that is almost 20 years old, it really is in lovely condition, and I am sure will be a future classic, being the first year of production.
