1961 Austin A35 Light Van. Tweed Grey with red leather upholstery. Introduced in 1956, the Austin A35 replaced the highly successful A30. The name reflected the larger and more powerful 34 hp inline-four engine. The A35 is very similar in appearance to the A30, except for a larger rear
window aperture and a painted front grille, with chrome horse-shoe surround, instead of the
chrome grille on the A30.
Purchase by the previous owner in 2005 as a project this Austin has had a full restoration. Fitted with an uprated engine due to the original having cylinder head problems. The body was fully restored by Appollo Sports Cars with photos on file. Once completed the vehicle was used daily for several years until 2015 before being garaged for the last five. A number of MoT certificates have been collected dating back to 1990 along with the original driver's handbook and receipts from the restoration process. Upon test drive this Austin drives very well with a strong, quick engine, lovely gearbox and it brakes and handles well. NFO852 presents well with smart Tweed Grey paintwork, a clean tidy upholstery and engine bay. It's ideal for some weekend fun, regular use or something to enjoy taking to shows. These Austin Vans have been increasing in value and demand. The whole concept of purchasing a light commercial for private classic motoring combined with its advertising potential is one we have enjoyed for many years and proved to be an enormous success. Without doubt the most economical and successful form of advertising known to man! Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Viewing is highly recommended and we know you won't be disappointed. When the new Austin A35 model came out… "....The new cars were thoroughly proved by tests carried out on the German “Autobahnen”, during which drivers of much larger cars, were astonished being overtaken by three small Austins , driven flat out all day, averaging 60 mph for 25000 miles!......" And… "....

Austin A35 Van 1958. He is tax and mot exempt. He was last mot’d in 2017 and passed with no advisories. He is a lovely little van that has always been kept garaged. I only purchased him about 5 months ago from a local man that had cherished him and spent a lot of time and money on him but sadly due to an impendin

Recently rebuilt to keep up with modern traffic, the original plan was to enter historic motorsport events, rallies and other fun stuff. Poor health has unfortunately prevented this. Stripped and modified at a cost of over £25,000 in 2012, she has completed less than 500 road miles since then (and never used on a

This stunning 1960 Austin A35 has come to us due to a collection having to be broken up. As you can see from the pictures it has real character and would be a fantastic investment for someone to use as an advertising tool for their business. Austin A35 van 1965, I have owned this van since 1997 and originally was going to use it as my service van. But with security an issue couldn’t risk having someone damage her. With this in mind I have decided with an heavy heart to sell her. Exceptional condition due to my inherent team of specialists who have kept t

Introduced in 1956, The Austin A35 came to replace the super successful Austin A30. The name reflected the increased capacity of the in-line-four cylinder «A-Series» engine, which was also more powerful, pushing 54cv, allowing the A35 a slightly higher top speed and better acceleration than its predecessor.
