Car was fitted in the recent past with a correct period 1275 engine that was bored / machined to 1430 on a high profile cam, roller rockers etc this is coupled to a Jack Knight straight cut five speed gearbox. This engine has been rebuilt and has forged connecting rods and up rated pistons, Cranksaft that is all balanced and machined to a high spec with the big valve head which is ported to match. The drop gear / idler gear in the transfer gears requires a new bearing. The following link takes you to a review of the car with the engine and gearbox fitted. (there is a Huge history of receipts for work done and parts used for this engine development, the engine change was to make it easier for driving as the 1430 is highly turned and very responsive)
THIS ENGINE could be included or sold separately.
There is also a set of 4 split rim Compomotive alloy wheels with the car again on Yokohama tyres - I believe these are very rare and unique. Currently running on Mini lites.
