|this advert is for my Rocket Goldstar, a genuine ,numbers matching uk bike from new ,sold new from Kings of Oxford, Lancashire and then down to Nottingham where its lived ever since- previous owner of 40+ years and the owner who restored was his pride and joy , he had put 300 miles on the full restoration [ 4-5 yrs ago ] using many of its original parts bringing it to the show condition it is in today, it looks like it was done yesterday, i have owned it for the past 4 1/2 yrs and has sat in my front room with my 47 Indian and Harley all that time, started twice a year and i have yet not ridden it since buying it, the bike has its correct Dunlop rims with Avon tyres, rrt2 gearbox ,plug in removable headlamp all set in clubmans trim, a very sought after machine, a iconic cafe racer of the day , limited numbers were built , [approx 1500], engine had only covered 5700 miles when took off the road back in the 70s according to last Mot, BSA despatch records, old buff log books, its a excellent example of the restoration of a genuine bike, i am in the Goldstar Owners Club, prices are strong for the best ,this is one of them, not desperate to sell as i have plenty of other bikes to jump on if i feel the need, a work of art for sure, investment without a doubt, viewing is poss, just let me know and we can sort it out at distance, any questions ask away, cheers|
