I bought the car from my elderly neighbour who had owned the car for the last 19 years! It was his pride and joy and he maintained it regardless of cost and garaged the car daily so there is no rust!

The car drives as you would expect for a low mileage example, silky smooth gearbox and ride.

Bad points;

The car is 20 years old so does have some stone chips.

The front and rear bumpers could do with painting as his wife scrapped the back left out of their driveway, very minor scratches, so it has never bothered me.

Alloys could do with refurb.

I have priced the car to reflect the above. Immaculate examples are 10-15k on Autotrader and EBay.

These E39’s are getting very rare now, especially an extremely low mileage example like this. Examples are rising and becoming collectors cars.
