Please get in touch if you wish to enter your own vehicle.<br /> <br /> <br /> 1974 Ford Escort MkI 1300GT<br /> <br /> Estimate: £8,000-10,000<br /> <br /> Remarkably sound and original four-door in very good order throughout; LHD French market car recently imported from sunny Portugal; superb underneath and never welded<br /> <br /> Supplied new to the French market in July 1974, this Ford Escort 1300GT is in truly remarkable condition throughout and appears to be highly original in all major respects with no signs of any previous welding. The underside is particularly impressive and indicates that the car must have led a very pampered life to date, the vendor importing it from sunny Portugal in October last year.<br /> <br /> The vehicle ID plate under the bonnet shows that the car was originally finished in Walnut Glow (paint code 7), a shade which we presume is not too dissimilar to the bronze/gold it wears today, although clearly it has been repainted at some point in the not-too-distant past. The Minilite-style alloys are also later additions and look virtually new, as do the tyres.<br /> <br /> The only defects of any note are a shallow dent in the rear left door and some split seams in the front passenger seat squab, as shown in the photographs on our website.
