The cases were cast on the 17th April 1969. This is a very early production bike, and still has all the early parts, 19 litre wrinkle petrol tank, (this was reduced to 17 litres by the end of April production) Narrow top yoke, early set pan with just 10 holes, one month later they had 17, thin lip generator cover without the 'dimples' behind the Honda lettering, long choke lever, 11 mm mirror stems, (within weeks this was reduced to 10mm) No pointer on the kill switch (again within weeks this had a point on it), early Sandcast clocks, rolled rear rim, 2 hole air-box, early carbs with horizontal breathers, smooth oil filter housing, sandcast cam chain adjuster and immaculate un-stamped Honda pipes etc etc. Restored 3 years ago by John Wyatt of Rising Sun Resoration, Author of the famous book 'Original Honda CB750 restorer guide' to an exceptional show winning standard. The motorcycle has only travelled 2 miles since and was part of an extensive London collection that was until last week on display in a heated showroom.
