MOT til May 2021 but waiting to have a new one before sale ideally.
Took this and a couple of others (which im also selling on here) from a collection that was losing it's storage facility. An ideal little project during the latest UK lockdown.
A rare old beast these days, with a face only a mother could love but is weirdly attractive at the same time. Still a very powerful and usable bike as long as you've the thighs to keep it in shape as It's a heavy old thing, but get her warmed up and she still goes like the proverbial off of a blanket.
It's previous owner advises that the carbs were cleaned up and refitted at some point last year (2020) along with a service (which I do have paperwork for, at least the receipts for the parts) its tyres although old look and feel OK. it passed an MOT only a few miles ago back in 2020 but for obvious reasons i'd like it to be MOT'd again.
It runs and rides fine. Feels OK, turns in when it should, as it should. Did have a little issue with the horn going off on a tight LH turn but this was the cable shorting on the headstock. Fixed this with some electrical tape. When its cold it can be a little bugger to start but at the moment its still running on old fuel (it was last used early 2020 so has been sat for a little while) but once its warm it moves and rides fine. I will try and pop some new fuel through it this weekend and see what its like (23-01-2021)
It doesn't appear to have been down the road, although it could well have been "laid" down on it's highside with some marks on the fairings and a small knock in the exhaust (no other marks mind) But I think as a rider myself, we've all been or nearly been there! (foot getting stuck in a pothole comes to mind!)
There is also a little cover missing on the left hand side of the clocks, take a look at the photos to see what i mean. (large ones below)
It's HPI clear and I have a report to give if required. I Have a copy of the old MOT's etc and can arrange UK wide delivery. It has one key. Full Log Book.
