For sale is my 1992 Maserati 430 2.8 V6 Biturbo, 5 speed manual. I'd like to be clear from the outset that this car will be a project for somebody - it has been off the road since 2014 and will require recommissioning and some bodywork attention too.

The car is complete as far as I know but I had to remove one of the OSF headlights to get to the OS bonnet pin, as it was stuck and I couldn't get the bonnet open. This is why the headlight is currently inside the car.

The car is dark metallic blue with cream full leather interior. This car is also fitted with electronically adjustable shock absorbers, facelift-type bumpers and custom-made wheels (or so I was told be a previous owner, but these cars have a strange PCD of 5x106 so it may well be true). The car has covered 84k miles.

I bought it on a bit of a whim late last year as I really like these Biturbo saloons (and boxy Italian saloons in general) but realistically I don't have the time/funds for this car due to focusing on my other projects (which includes another Biturbo and some Alfas...). I have therefore regrettably decided that she needs to go. In terms of the price, I'm simply hoping to recover what the car owes me.

I believe the car is complete and comes with a folder full of service history/receipts totalling approximately £38k, as well as lots of old MOTs, the original handbook with leather wallet, and two sets of keys. I've combed through the paperwork and this car really has had significant maintenance over the years - there's not a single area of the car that hasn't had money spent on it! There are also receipts for some upgraded parts including sports springs, tarox brakes, a stainless exhaust, etc.

The car is a non-runner at present of course. I bought a new cambelt and tensioner bearing with the intention of getting the car running and off to an MOT but obviously I haven't got around to this yet, however I will include these parts in the sale. I can confirm that the engine turns freely, but I would not recommend trying to start the engine before replacing the belt at the very least. The car rolls quite freely anyway so loading onto a trailer won't be an issue.

The car is being sold as seen and as such, viewing is highly recommended, though of course this can be tricky at the moment with Covid restrictions.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.

The car is listed for sale elsewhere so I reserve the right to remove this listing at any given moment.

Thanks for looking.

The Maserati Biturbo was a family of luxury sports cars, saloons and grand tourers produced by Maserati between 1981 and 1994. The original Biturbo was a two-door, four-seater notchback coupé (of somewhat smaller dimensions than the BMW 3 Series of the time) featuring, as the name implies, a two-litre V6 engine with t

The Biturbo proper was a two-door 2+2 coupé, introduced in December 1981. It was powered by a twin-turbo V6, producing 180 to 205 PS (132 to 151 kW; 178 to 202 bhp). The Biturbo name disappeared when the car was significantly redesigned in 1988. After 1994 the two-door car was again significantly reworked and became t
