A Marvellous Restored Example of a Mimosa Yellow 1973 Triumph TR6 (Uk V5)
This is a marvellous example of a 1973 Triumph TR6, she is an example that drives beautifully and is wonderfully finished with a driving spirit and a colour that epitomises nineteen seventeen British motoring and the sensations of the era. Having just benefited from a splendid and significant restoration she is supplied with this fantastic glossy restoration photo album, with gleaming corrosion free panel work and a brand new soft top. She is mechanically perfect, exact and honest and supplied with her UK L Suffix V5 and 12 months MOT for your peace of mind, despite being MOT & tax exempt. We will expand upon each of these points below and include links to extra photographs and videos
A. Beautiful to Drive
With twin Stromberg carburettors, her 2.5 litre straight six engine starts first time, sounds wonderful and drives beautifully with spirited acceleration, a precise gearbox and a brand new clutch.
B. Marvellous Example
Finished in the most sought after Mimosa Yellow with corrosion free panelwork, gleaming paintwork and a brand new soft top, she looks phenomenal.
C. Photographic Restoration Completed 2021
Being supplied with a fantastic glossy photo book documenting the restoration from start to finish you can review her restoration and be definitively sure of her honesty.
D. Solid Honest Structure
Honestly unhidden behind any vale of under-seal, she bears a solid structure underneath, the new owner will appreciate the solidity and originality of her front inner wings, her restored and colour co-ordinated interior floors and solid boot (panels removed form photographs). Underside photos to be updated.
E. Ready to Enjoy with 12 Months MOT
Being mechanically perfect, coming with 12 months MOT with no advisories (despite being MOT exempt also) and being tax exempt (free road tax) you can have peace of mind that she is ready to enjoy.
F. Imported from a Dry State
Being produced in the UK factory for the US market she has lived her life in a dry state and is much more solid. Having been imported in 2020 by and for a car collector she was correctly registerred and assigned a UK V5 and her original L Suffix registration so she is ready to drive!
Accordingly, this is your opportunity to own a marvellous example of the Triumph TR6, a wonderful example that drives beautifully, stands out iconically in gleaming 1970’s Mimosa Yellow and is just a splendid example without corrosion, an example that you can take pride in.
One must appreciate the originality of her interior, its antique patina and how this gives her real soul. That being said and in the spirit of being overly picky one might suggest her wooden dash bears its age and her front right chrome hubcap trim is dented (both could be replaced for £120 on Ebay).
Links to Extra Photographs & Videos available
We have prepared 50+ extra photographs and three videos. Those videos show a walkaround, her engine running and the restoration photo album.
