With Series 1 RS Turbo’s commanding over £50,000.00 for nice examples with low mileage, the Series 2 examples look to be a great investment.
Within the history file of this example, are the original booklets and supplying dealer binder.
Some early service sheets are also present, along with 18 MOT certificates.
The service booklet shows 10 service stamps, and a letter from the previous owner of 25 years, explaining that he also serviced the vehicle himself later in its life.

Body & Paintwork:
Finished in the desirable Diamond White, this RS Turbo looks fantastic with all factory panels still in place as you would fully expect.
The 90 Spec is the much sought after variant and has changes such as the face-lift front bumper and rear spoiler, which are of course present and correct on this example.
Various new old stock items have been fitted to this example to help it present as well as possible, and this includes the Carello driving lamps and headlamps.
All glass is etched as it should be, and the supplying Ford main dealer rear screen sticker and number plates remain fitted.
Interior & Trim:
As you would expect, the interior in this S2 RST is very nice, and remains how Ford intended.
The fully adjustable Recaro Zolda fabric seats remain in great shape, with the bolsters still feeling firm and supportive.
The door cards are, again in great condition with very light markings to the interior door handles which is a known weak point.
Original Ford ‘waffle’ floor mats are still in place (front and rear), and present well.
All switchgear works as it should do, and all dials function correctly.
The pictures of the engine bay speak for themselves, and as per the underside and running gear, many new old stock parts have been sourced to help this example stand out from the usual ‘ok’ examples.
Factory standard in terms of power, this example presents very nicely in the engine bay area, and the car runs very nicely.
We have sent the alternator away for a rebuild due to a noisy bearing, and this will be refitted over the coming days.
Having had a full refresh, the car has had new belts, and fluids etc as you would expect. The genuine Ford Carello headlamps are new old stock items, and look superb.
A factory original exhaust system remains fitted.
As can be seen in the pictures, the car has had an engine bay and underside refresh, which has been carried out to a nice level of detail.
Many new old stock parts have been sourced, and fitted to this example.
The underside presents very nicely, and we are happy to supply any pictures required upon request.
With only only 44k miles from new, this example is not a welded/rebuilt high mileage car, it was a nice example to begin with and has been taken to the next level.
The gearbox and clutch operate very nicely, and the car also benefits from a new set of tyres.
