1961 BSA A10 RGS Replica For Sale

The V5 is listing the bike simply as a BSA A10 first registered in 1951 (Which is great, as it makes it MOT exempt, but wrong, as the engine number links it to a 1961/ 1962 Super Rocket model).
It is now closer to being a BSA A10 Rocket Gold Star Replica though.
I've owned that bike seven and a half years, and spent thousands on it (I have over £5000 worth of receipts from SRM alone, but the total spend is way beyond that figure).

Amongst other things, it had a complete engine rebuild that included:
-A needle roller bearing conversion with heavy duty drive side bearing by SRM.
-Lead free valve seat conversion (by SRM too)
-Crankshaft tested and crank assembly dynamically balanced by (still by SRM).
-New SRM high capacity oil pump installed.
-Barrels rebored to +. 80, and new OHV pistons
-New valves
-Big end journals built and ground to standard
-New SRM chrome pushrod set
-complete rebuild of the gearbox (Std).
-new clutch
-a very discreet electric ignition mechanism was also fitted...

The engine casing was vapour blasted, the frame was sand blasted and powder coated gloss black (along with the centre stand, the brake pedal, and the foot pegs), with new taper roller bearing fitted to the head stock and some other fancy SRM bits (like their damper rod kit and progressive fork springs, or their new oil sump kit)... New Hagon shocks, new exhausts and silencers (English chromed).

It has a lot of chrome in unusual places (ie: the swing arm, the oil tank, the tool box, gear box brackets, front and rear light brackets, etc...)
It has alloy rims (Akront), fitted with Avon tyres.

The front brake is a very rare genuine Robinson 4 leading shoe magnesium drum brake... As a result, I did not do anything to that brake and left it in original condition.
I also have some spare parts which I will let go with the bike (ie: clip-on handlebars, Amal concentric carburetor, alloy front mudguard, clutch extractor tool, cafe racer exhaust pipes, headlight guards, short brake pedal, etc...)

Anyway, the bike has barely been used since all the work has been done (probably around 200 miles if that), and even though it has been standing under its cover for a while and would probably benefit from a good polish and a bit of tinkering, it starts easily and runs well...

Viewing is welcome.
