THIS DELIGHTFULLY ORIGINAL UN-MOLESTED WEDGEWOOD BLUE TRIUMPH HERALD 1200 SALOON
"SOY 130F" WAS FIRST REGISTERED ON THE 8TH OF AUGUST 1967 TO A MR GORDON FROST OF 88 PALACE VIEW, CROYDON SURREY.
IT MOVED TWICE WITH GORDON, FIRSTLY TO "PINE WOLD", STATION ROAD WOLDINGHAM THEN SOME 2 YEARS LATER , (AFTER THE OLD GREEN V60 LOGBOOK WAS CANCELLED AND UPDATED TO THE NEWER V5 LOGBOOK ), THE CAR MOVED DOWN TO "BETHANY LODGE " ST. MAWES IN CORNWALL WHEN MR FROST RETIRED.
HE GAVE UP DRIVING AROUND 2000 BUT THE CAR REMAINED IN HIS POSSESSION UNTIL 2009 WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT BY THE LOCAL PUBLICAN, A MR MILAN, WHO LIVED IN CHAGFORD .
THE LITTLE HERALD LIVED IN A HEATED GARAGE ALONG MR MILAN'S ASTON MARTIN AND BENTLEY FOR COMPANY !
MR MILAN IN TURN PART EXCHANGED IT AROUND 2013 FOR A ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW AT A LOCAL SPECIALIST IN MARCH 2013 AND IT PASSED TO THE 3RD OWNER, A SERIAL TRIUMPH ENTHUSIAST, WHO KEPT IT GARAGED AT HIS HOME IN DEVON.
HE USED IT OVER THE NEXT 8 YEARS WITH IS FAMILY FOR SHOWS, WEDDINGS AND CLASSIC CAR EVENTS, MAINTAINING IT BEAUTIFULLY.

I HAPPENED ACROSS IT BY CHANCE WHILST IN DEVON LOOKING AT OTHER CARS AND WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET TO IT BEFORE ANYONE ELSE AND SECURE THE CAR.
IT HAS PARTICULAR INTEREST FOR ME AS MY FIRST CAR WAS A '67 1200 CONVERTIBLE IN THE VERY SAME BLUE.
ROGER THEN FOUND ANOTHER TRIUMPH HE WANTED SO ADVERTISED THE LITTLE HERALD.
I HAPPENED ACROSS IT BY CHANCE WHILST IN DEVON LOOKING AT OTHER CARS AND WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET TO IT BEFORE ANYONE ELSE AND SECURE THE CAR.
MY FIRST CAR WAS A '67 1200 CONVERTIBLE IN THE SAME BLUE.
THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT ONE OF THE VERY BEST AND MOST ORIGINAL HERALDS LEFT, JUST 42, 514 CAREFUL MILES, RUNS AND DRIVES BEAUTIFULLY, WELL NOT JUST LOOKED AFTER BUT CLEARLY LOVED AND CHERISHED ALL IT'S LIFE.
BEING GARAGED ALL IT'S LIFE IT IS EXCEPTIONALLY RUST FREE.
A TRUE TIME WARP CAR.
APART FROM SOME MINOR PAINT REPAIRS AND A STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST IT IS TOTALLY ORIGINAL DOWN TO EVEN HAVING THE ORIGINAL CARPETS AND NUMBER PLATES !
