A huge amount of work was done on this car over the period 2015 to 2018, structural repairs to the chassis in the usual areas, rebuilt
brakes, partial retrim, seats and door cards, fitted factory rebuilt engine purchased from Bristol Cars in 2010, new clutch, original gearbox currently fitted with remote gear lever which may be available as opposed to the normal gear change lever, new headlights, new rear lights, led bulbs all round inc reversing and fog lamps. New stainless steel exhaust from Bristol Cars, new engine and gearbox mounts. Wheels powder coated in silver and fitted with new radial tyres and tubes. Rebuilt radiator and fuel pump, capacitor discharge ignition system, rebuilt dynamo and new control box. New chrome over riders for bumpers, blades need plating or a set of these parts in stainless steel may be available by negotiation. Alfin drums are fitted on the front and a 405 anti roll bar is available to fit.

Has a new screen rubber to go with it, also the door and side window rubbers and a new wood frame/ surround for the back window. Attention to aluminium bodywork around the front outer lamps and above the front bumper is needed which my friend was going to do when he painted the car for me, most of the paint has been removed this needs to be completed and the final preparation for painting, colour was originally Cambridge Grey which is a very light metallic green. We actually managed about 70 miles of initial road testing before the covid restrictions came in and progress came to a virtual standstill, with everything now behind schedule and with no realistic prospect of the car being painted this year I have taken the hard and regretted decision to sell the car as it is. The work undertaken has been fully documented in photographs from day one.

The grill surrounds & grill are with the car as are a set of the original 401 hubcaps complete with badges and a pair of new new old stock not reproduction coachwork badges for the front wings, all the hard work has been done, all the rare bits often missing from project cars such as the sun visors are with it together with an owners hand book and a parts book. A straight forward job to take through to conclusion and you get to choose the colour.

May consider V8 Bristol needing work in part exchange.

Please feel free to contact me for any further information or more photographs.
A lift is available for inspection and as I am retired this could be arranged during the week or most weekends.
