Fast road spec with triple SUs, power steering, Type 9 Ford 5 speed gearbox, Stage 2 Peter Burgess engine, 123 dizzy, Magnecor HT leads, Maniflow exhaust, Gaz shocks and polybushes all round. This is a comprehensive package of mods which makes the MGC drive and handle as it always should have, not like the nose heavy car Abingdon actually produced. Please do your research on these mods - they aren't cheap. Body rebuilt 30 years ago - sound and tidy but not concours. MWS chrome wires, recent cloth hood and frame and interior/ boot carpet set. Comprehensive history - all owners known, receipts and bills back to the early '80s, Heritage Certificate showing original sale through University Motors. Most of the upgrade work was done by well known specialists including Colne Classics and MG Motorsport. Much better performance and handling than a standard MGC (or AH 3000) but docile when needs be - you can trickle through villages in 4th gear at 30, but will fly when you put your foot down. If you are after a classic six cylinder British '60s sports car that is still quicker than most things on the road, come and have a look.
