This is my recently restored Morris Pick Up, the following work has been carried out by me , I will list the parts and work done :-
Bodywork:- The Body was removed from the chassis to carry out the Chassis repairs as required, Cab rear section replaced, Rear N\Side and O\Side wheel arch outers replaced, rear Cab floor to Cab section replaced, Front N\Side and O\Side inner and outer sills replaced, The complete floor N\Side and O\Side replaced with new Panels, N\Side and O\Side Front Door Bottoms replaced, Rear Tilt bed top rails replaced, New set of Tilt Bars, replaced and Powder coated, Rear Tilt Bars securing plates replaced, Rear Tail Gate Repaired, N\Side and O\Side Front wings replaced, N\Side and O\Side inner Engine compartment bottoms replaced, N\Side and O\Side front Wheel arches repaired , Front Valance Repaired.
Mechanical:- New Engine Main Bearings, Big End Bearings, Piston Rings, Oil Filter Conversion, Thrust washers, Front Double Timing Chain and Sprockets, all Gaskets, oil Pressure relief valve, Oil Warning light switch, Points, Plugs, Condenser, Spark Plugs, Distributer Cap, Dynamo Conversion with securing plate and Coil, New Clutch Plate and All Clutch push rods and Levers replaced, N\Side and O\Side Front and Rear Brake Shoes, Wheel Cylinders, New Brake Master Cylinder Rubbers Copper and Flexi Brake and Fuel Pipes, New Hand brake Cables, New Exhaust System with Mounting Brackets, 5 New Tyres and Wheels Sand Blasted, Rear Spring U bolts and Plates, Front and rear rubbers and rebound rubbers, all front Suspension top and bottom suspension and rebound rubbers, New Wiper Blades, New Radiator with Cap and Hoses.
Trim :- Complete New Carpet set, Seats Cleaned with new Support Rubber Straps, New Headlining, Newb Cab outer Wooden Tilt supports , New Thorntons2000 Rear Canvas Tilt Cover made to the original Specification (Superb Quality) New Rear Tilt Rubber Bump Stops.
Electrics:- Complete New Cloth Covered Wiring Loom, New Horn, New N\Side and O\side Headlamps, New interior Roof Light, New Fuel Tank Sender Unit.
As you can see, this has been a Major overhaul, I have explained the best that I can and is a very good vehicle, having said that , it is still a 1968 Pick Up, it is not concourse , but if you are looking for a very good restored pick Up this is for you.
