We have pleasure in offering this very straight & original Morris Minor Traveller affectionately known as 'Gracie-Mai' who was born in 1969 as a 1098cc estate dressed in her distinctive Grey coat with contrasting light blue interior trim. Lovingly cared for by her previous custodians ~ the most recent a local mature lady owner since 2007 who 'mothballed' Gracie-Mai in a dry open barn since 2013, hence only covering 200 miles in the last 9 years!!!. All the panels are straight & door gaps are all good. There is a folder full of invoices, lots of old MOT certificates and manuals. She starts first time on the key and runs very well. Good tyres all round. Over fifty-two years young this versatile estate is tax exempt and very economical to insure under classic insurance (excellent for first time drivers). Last MOT expired June 2013, though now MOT exempt. Historic tax (free of course).

The wooden frame is in great order, solid & a nice colour, though the rear doors have some discolouration and slight softness in one corner bottom (though nothing major & due to the rear of the Traveller facing out towards the elements in the barn). The chassis, floor, sills, spring hangers, engine bay & boot are all in great order throughout with no obvious signs of any previous welding repairs (very rare indeed!).

The door bottoms are lovely and solid. There are a few minor 'cauliflower' superficial rust spots on the doors, but nothing to worry about.

The front seat bases will need new diaphragm's as they have perished (but cheap & easy enough to do).

Gracie-Mai has covered less than 500 miles in the last 10 years ( 50 miles a year). Showing just over 22k miles on the clock which appears genuine, but please make your own enquiries as this cannot be warranted.

It’s a nice down-to-earth Traveller that is straight & original. It’s a versatile estate that can still do the business. It’s also a bit like a half-timbered house – every village should have one. Shame it doesn’t have a thatched roof...

Gracie-Mai is a great competitively priced Traveller which are going up in value year on year so is a sure fire investment opportunity, as of course, an enjoyment opportunity. Great for pottering down the local shops for some milk & a loaf of bread or to the local pub (for half a pint of lager & a packet of crisps!).
