An MG TA that has been the subject of a rebuild/ restoration of extraordinary quality. The car is truly beautiful in every respect, the finish and detailing exceptional. Painted in Old English white with a Collingburn interior in Apple Green with Connolly hide seats and wool carpets, the car presents to a prize-winning standard. Full weather equipment in black mohair, wind-wings to the screen sides, a detachable luggage rack and silver enamelled wire wheels with new Blockley tyres complete the external appearance.
The rebuilt engine performs strongly and all aspects of the car’s road behaviour are consistent with the standard of the rebuild.
There is a substantial history file including a photographic record of the rebuild, invoices, and DVLA paperwork which confirms the registration number as the original and correct one. The TA model, being pre-war, qualifies for entry to VSCC and numerous other pre-war only events – an advantage it carries over most later models in MG’s “T” series.
The car is located in the Chester area.
