1954 As raced by the best iconic 50’s racing drivers. For Sale

Every historic racer or wannabe is not complete unless they have raced a 500!

Reluctant sale of my recently restored 1954 Cooper 500 MK8.

£1, 000’s spent on restoring, preparing, and fettling this car during 2021.

Believed originally to be a Manx engine car, now with a freshly rebuilt JAP by Jim Edwards to the best specification ensuring performance and reliability.

Beautifully presented retaining just the right amount of patina and charm (or paint over winter in the cars original Cooper racing green?).

If you have never driven one of these cars, they are a revelation, exciting, great fun and well supported by a friendly and helpful club.

500’s probably represent the lowest cost way to race a historic car at Goodwood and this one is ready to race now.

2nd at Castle Combe Historic in October 2021.

All sensible offers considered may consider a small p/ x if it helps.
