This 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera started life as a US-market example and was converted to a race car by a previous owner, an adjunct professor teaching for Porsche, Bosch, and Mercedes-Benz. The car is powered by a turbocharged twin-plug 3. 0L flat-six which was overhauled in 2017 and is mated to a 4-speed transaxle modified with 934 gears and a Guard differential. Other components include lightweight body panels finished in yellow and a stripped interior with a roll cage, aluminium Kirkey racing seats, and a fire suppression system. The seam-welded chassis is fitted with adjustable spring plates and sway bars, lowered front spindles, revalved Bilsteins, and more.

The bodywork is finished in yellow and comprised of the original steel tub with a lightweight hood, doors, bumpers, and front fenders. Aerodynamic modifications include a 993 RS-style rear wing, raised rear window, removable dive planes, aluminium shear plate, window sill deflectors, and mirrors from a Honda motorcycle. The front windshield is glass, while all other windows are made of Lexan. Many of the decals were removed as seen above. Three-piece 18? CCW wheels are mounted with unused street-legal Michelin tires.

The interior is fitted with two aluminium Kirkey racing seats, a removable MOMO steering wheel, a Trans Am-spec fuel pump shutoff, and a fire suppression system. The VDO instrumentation is retained and an Andial boost gauge is fitted in the original clock location. Approximately 60k miles are shown on the odometer, 3k of which were added by the seller in 14 years. A Wevo shifter is connected to a straight chromoly shift tube and universal joint. A modern stereo is connected to speakers in the door panels.

The turbocharged 3. 0L flat-six was converted to twin-plug ignition in 2017. A Supertec distributor was added and the cylinder heads were rebuilt with new valves, springs, retainers, locks, and rocker arms. The timing chains and rails were replaced, while Carrera-style chain tensioners were retained from an earlier build. The engine is calibrated for 91-octane unleaded fuel.

Stainless muffler added for use at street events
A 25-gallon ATL fuel cell is installed in the trunk along with a large-capacity oil tank, which connects to a MOCAL oil cooler via 1? and 1. 25? AN lines. The electrical system has been updated to use blade fuses and a lightweight battery is held in the passenger side of the trunk with an aluminium mount.

The suspension is comprised of ASP adjustable spring plates from Elephant Racing, re-valved Bilstein shocks, 24mm front torsion bars, and 34mm rears. Both sway bars are adjustable, with the rear changeable from the cockpit to compensate for fuel use. Offset lower ball joints are fitted to the front control arms. The front spindles have been dropped 40mm and feature double-shear tie rod mounts. Braking is from 996 Turbo calipers and rotors bolted to stock suspension mounts.

CASC and PCA logbooks accompany the car as well as several binders detailing modifications and the most recent engine build.
