After viewing the photographs, you could be fooled into believing that this example has been the subject of a lengthly restoration! She remains fully original & untouched since new - the owner has fastidiously preserved the factory paintwork & decals since purchase nearly 40 years ago. We have not attempeted any detailling work & believe this honour should be left for the new custodian & would vastly improve the overall finish with a minimal effort!

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:
Powered by the highly coverted 1062cc four cylinder, DOHC 16 valve engine coupled to a five speed transmission with chain drive producing 110hp. All resulting in a top speed of 138 mph - making the CB 1100F one of the fastest road bikes of the day.

During her 38 year lifespan, the motorcycle was very carefully enjoyed when new & covered a mere 23, 000 miles or 38, 000 km. When imported into the UK, the cycle remained in storage with engine regulary started & gently excersied on private land. The gentleman informs us that the engine ran exceptionally well & sounded absolutely fantastic!! Naturally after many years of inactivity, we strongly recommend a comprehensive & precautionary recommissioning before use.

HISTORY FILE:
This CB 1100F was originally supplied new in Canada to an English gentleman & motorcycle connoisseur. Residing in Canada at the time, he seized his opportunity to own a super rare & North American/ Canadian market only Special Edition. The CB was so highly prized by the owner that he imported her into the UK when returning home several years later.

The motorcycle then spent the next three decades in dry storage until this year when a decision was reached: Something so rare & special deserves to be seen & fully appreicated by a new enthusiast!
