1995 Connaught Green Ally Body Plus 8 For Sale

| | | This is a 1995 one owner, 48k miles car. It is Connaught Green with aluminium bodywork and three part hand beaten front wings not the later 'super-formed' ones. It has s/s wire wheels and nearly new tyres.
The ECU is Tornado chipped and there are Magnacor HT leads with ignition amplifier. The character of this Morgan derives from the s/s long tube header exhaust; the 4:2:1 collectors exit through absorption 'silencer' boxes hidden under each wing having side exits. It burbles 'V8' at low revs. then changes to an F1-like V10 scream when spurred. This broad band cacophony of noise is gut wrenching and sets off car alarms at ten paces; and this really is true. It does not have to be driven hooligan-like and will drive sedately when required
The additional engine oil cooler and a unique specially designed cool air inlet, which has a significant effect over 80mph., increase the power to about 250bhp.
The beige full leather interior with green piping sets off a walnut dash and tidy box installed between the seats.
There is extra instrumentation such as vacuum gauge, oil temperature and clock as there is a Motolita steering wheel. Apart from the usual +8 driving lamps there are two more additional spot lamps. There are badge bars front and back and a s/s luggage rack.
This is a genuine and reliable car and has made four round trips to Mallorca. It has done the full Le Mans circuit at some speed and went up Prestcott Hill with a great deal of gusto and aplomb.
A special 'Mog' registration is available.
Remember, this is a one owner, aluminium-bodied, up-rated power and low(ish) mileage car; it has only ever been driven by me.
