Brighton Motorsports is proud to present this Stunning 1967 MGB Roadster This has to be one of the finest MGB Roadsters in existence today! The car was restored in 2008 with only 58,370 original miles on the clock. The car currently has 61,715 miles, documented by years of receipts. The car was actually built in late 1966 but was originally delivered to California in 1967 and titled as a 1967. After California, the car went to New Mexico, Texas, Georgia, and eventually to North Carolina to be restored. The car has been in Arizona since the restoration was completed. This was a complete nut and bolt restoration. There is no evidence of rust, past or present. It is finished in PPG black base coat and it looks as good in person as it does in the photos. The car retains its original aluminum bonnet. All the chrome has been redone and the stainless and aluminum pieces have been polished. All the rubber seals and weather stripping have been replaced – and the doors still close well. The interior was redone in red leather along with new foam and seat diaphragms. The new top is from Prestige in England and the correct carpet was sourced from Carrali in England. New red seatbelts with the original MG logos have been added. The console you see in the car is a NOS AMCO period correct accessory. In the boot you will find a very nice Mohair Tonneau along with refinished top and tonneau bows in their new correct stowage bags. The jack and tool set are in there alongside a new spare wheel and tire. The engine was completely rebuilt to standard specs except for a .030 bore and hardened seats for unleaded fuel. The SU cars were rebuilt with new throttle shafts and seals and then polished. The exhaust has been replaced with a stainless steel Bell system from England. The transmission was rebuilt, shifts very nicely and is quiet. The clutch action is very smooth. The suspension was fully rebuilt with many of the parts powder coated. The differential is smooth and quiet and all the brakes have been rebuilt. The chrome wire wheels are shod with Dunlop 185-70-14 tires. This MGB has entered 3 British car shows in Arizona in the last 3 years and has placed first in its class at each showing. I have personally owned several MGB’s over the last 40 years and this one drives as nice as or nicer than any I have ever driven. Please call Brighton Motorsports @ 480-483-4682 with any questions
