1932 Austin Engined Donkin Fire Pump BLIC Magneto For Sale
For Sale 1932 Austin Engined(Big 7 or 8) Donkin Portable Fire Pump No. 87 on the manufacturer plate.
This unit is in fantastic condition as you can see from the Photographs, we have owned it for the last 20 years. I have typed the specification as per the Donkin Information we have with it below. The Engine does have a BLIC magneto that looks like new, it could be straight off an early Seven, they were fitted 1923ish-28.
The pump engine suppliers carried on with special mag crankcases into mid 30s as they did not want the newfangled coil which therefore needed a battery and dynamo-extra weight all round.
The engine number is 1A1745 AF2
It has a lovely set of Brass Bryan Donkin Gauges which are in superb order.
