RILEY 4/72 Farina Sports Saloon SOLD (1969)
|The Riley 4/72 is now quite a rare car. According to the web site How many Left, there are only 59 examples of this model currently licensed for the road with a further 34 off the road. |
They are specified above the standard Austin and Morris Farina models with leather seats, wood dash, rev counter and twin carburettors.
We have acquired this example from a classic car collector in the north of England who is reducing his collection due to ill health. We will be offering a number of his cars in the coming weeks.
A pre MOT check showed a seized front brake cylinder so we have had all new brake cylinders and shoes, front and rear, replaced in order to pass the new MOT.
The car now has an MOT which runs until March 2017.
The history file contains the current V5 log book, the advertised description and sales invoice from when the collector bought it, a previous V5, the current MOT, previous MOT certificates and advisory notices, old road tax discs and invoices for the parts and labour for the recent brake overhaul.
The car will be licensed for twelve months from the date of sale for the new owner at no cost as the car qualifies for the Historic Taxation class.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come and see it in our Leeds showroom.
UK wide professional delivery is available. Please ring for a quote. We are also happy to deliver to any mainland port for export.
